As a pro-lifer I often get accused of only caring about the baby and having no concern for the mother.  This couldn’t be further from the truth.   

In 2023 there were 20,950 babies lost to abortion in New Mexico alone.  We are on track this year to increase that number to at least 25,800.

20,950 – 20,950 babies lost to abortion last year.  This number has been on my mind all weekend.  20,950 people that will never read a novel. 20,950 people that will never see a sunset or a sunrise.  20,950 people that will never fall in love, have their hearts broken and learn to love again.   

In New Mexico alone, abortions have increased by more than 400% . Prior to Roe v Wade being overturned, NM had about 4800+/- abortions per year. In 2023 that number jumped to 20,950.  The state is on track to exceed that number for 2024.
